Project Overview

Designed as a private residence, this villa expresses a clear architectural intention: to create a contemporary home defined by proportion, light, and spatial continuity.

The project is composed through a system of pure volumes, where horizontal slabs frame the upper level and create protected outdoor spaces. The architecture balances solidity and openness — compact in its massing yet generous in its transparency.

The ground floor is organized around an open-plan living area, where the kitchen, dining, and lounge spaces merge into a fluid environment connected directly to the exterior. Large sliding glass doors dissolve the boundary between inside and outside, extending daily life toward the garden.

On the upper level, the private sleeping area unfolds around generous terraces and loggias. The recessed façade, enriched with warm wooden cladding, introduces material contrast and depth while preserving the geometric rigor of the white external frame. The balcony acts as both architectural filter and transitional space, offering privacy without compromising openness.

The design emphasizes:

  • Functional clarity in the spatial distribution
  • Strong horizontal lines that define the architectural identity
  • Material contrast between white plaster surfaces and natural wood
  • Generous openings that maximize natural light

Though not realized, the project represents a precise exploration of contemporary residential architecture — where simplicity becomes character, and proportion defines elegance.

The villa is conceived not as an iconic object, but as a refined living environment — rational, luminous, and carefully balanced.
